    Watch recorded show

There wasn’t any internet signal between Sona and Santiago, so I couldn’t do a live stream. Instead, I recorded this video at 1 p.m. CST to be uploaded. I misheard the kid who I asked what town I was in, so I made a mistake mentioning the name in the video. It’s actually Las Balsas. Click video to get a glimpse of life here.

I’ve been in Panama for 10 days now. I haven’t seen any homeless people yet. I did see a few Indians and some kids begging for money. Overall, the quality of life looks really good in the countryside.

There were only three or four hills which made this route challenging, but most of the time it was flat. Easy ride.

This day took about 4.5 hours with lunch break. More than halfway there!
