Many believe the end of the world is coming. Chaos… mayhem… doomsday… The Mayan calendar ends on December 21, 2012!

NASA claims there is no scientific evidence to support that destruction, global disasters, or that meteors will wreck havoc on December 21, 2012.

It’s a fun excuse to scare the shit out of people to stock up on food, water, and supplies. Basically… spend money. Just like what happened with the Y2K scare.

As for me, I’ll be stocking up on sun tan lotion, mosquito repellent, mangos, and cervezas. All this hype has got me spending money on travel to the Yucatán to see whats about to go down. Why not celebrate the end and the beginning near the center of the Mayan universe? I might sound crazy… it’s okay ’cause my friends and family think I’m nuts, but it’s gonna be one hell of an adventure.

While scrambling to plan for this trip on short notice, I came across a few events and resources. Feel free to share them with anyone that might want to go last minute. Heck, shoot me an email if you or your friends want to meet up.
